PRESIDENT
Grayson Schleppegrell is an attorney and the founding shareholder and President of Exchange QI, Inc. He enjoys creating value for his clients and helping them accomplish their goals though like-kind exchanges.
Grayson’s attention to detail, integrity, and work ethic make him beyond qualified to act as an intermediary in a 1031 transaction.
Grayson was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina where he attended its public schools. He attended Clemson University on academic scholarships and, while there, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated magna cum laude with both a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in political science in 2010. At Clemson he was actively involved with the Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism where he developed a strong intellectual foundation and love for entrepreneurship and deep understanding of the challenges business face.
Grayson attended the University of Tennessee’s College of Law on a full academic scholarship and earned his J.D. cum laude with a concentration in business transactions in 2015.
In addition to his work through Exchange QI, Inc., Grayson practices law through his law firm, Schleppegrell Law, PLLC, which focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, business entity formation and governance, contract drafting, real estate, estate planning, and other general business and transactional law matters.
Grayson was listed in The Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch (2021 Edition and 2022 Edition) for Mergers and Acquisitions Law.
Grayson is admitted to practice law in the state of Tennessee and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
When not practicing law, Grayson enjoys fishing, bird hunting, cooking, and traveling with his wife Chelsey.
